OGRA withdraws decision about registration of LPG distributors

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Monday declared its decision regarding the registration of authorised distributors of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing companies “null and void” with immediate effect.

According to a document available with Daily Times, OGRA wrote a letter to LPG Association of Pakistan on June 26, which stressed ensuring the safety of distributors premises. While Deputy Executive Director (LPG), Abdul Rab Khan has revealed that OGRA took in principle decision to ensure the registration of all authorised and appointed distributors by LPG marketing companies with the authority.
