Pak Suzuki on Monday has clarified in a notice to the Karachi Stock Exchange that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has banned import of storage cylinder not of vehicle cylinders.
Notice further stated that the OGRA decision, as per the news flow, pertains only to CNG storage cylinders that are different from the ones used in cars/LCVs.
The clarification came on account of earlier reported news that OGRA has banned the import of CNG cylinders from 12 suppliers, including Faber and EKC, which supply CNG kits to Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC).
