PC invites EoIs for Hazara Phosphate

The Privatisation Commission (PC) has invited Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for the sale of 90 per cent shares in Hazara Phosphate Fertilisers Ltd (HPFL).

The EoIs have been invited from prospective investors (eg fertilizer companies, industrial companies and groups, investors/ consortium of investors who can show their ability to efficiently manage and operate the company).

All parties submitting EoIs would be sent SoQs for response, which shall form the basis of pre-qualification.

Parties, which have already submitted EoIs with the requisite processing fee in response to the earlier advertisement, are not required to submit a fresh EoIs. They should obtain the Request of Statement of Qualifications (RSoQs) document from Privatisation Commission free of charge in order to file the same by January 15, 2007.

It shall be mandatory to submit SoQ documents in order to be eligible to take part in the fresh bidding process.

National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan Limited (NFC) owns Hazara Phosphate Fertilizers Ltd.
