Pakistan gold prices drop by 1300/tola

GoldPakistan gold prices fell steeply on Thursday in major bullion markets of the country following decline in the international market.

Gold rates in Karachi decreased by Rs 1,300 per tola and recorded at Rs. 55,400 per tola (11.66 grams). The price of 10 grams gold also went down by Rs 1,115 to Rs. 47,485.

Furthermore, silver price also fell and recorded at Rs 924.85 per 10 gram.

In International market, Gold extended losses and dropped more than 1 percent as investors turned to the safety of the U.S. dollar on uncertainty about a resolution of Europe’s debt crisis that has stirred up fears for global growth.

GoldPakistan gold rates continuously falling in major bullion markets of the country following decline in the international gold markets as European countries are striving hard to stimulate the economy.

Gold prices in Karachi dropped significantly on Monday and recorded at Rs 56,300 per tola (11.66 grams). The price of 10 grams gold also went down to Rs. 48,257.

On the other hand, silver price also remained lower at Rs 1050 per tola and Rs 900 per 10 gram.

GoldGold rates in Pakistan slide downwards on Thursday in major bullion markets of the country following the downward trend in international gold rates.

Gold prices in Karachi fell steeply by Rs 1,150 per tola and recorded at Rs 59,600 per tola (11.66 grams). The price of 10 grams gold also went down by Rs 986 to Rs. 51,085.

On the other hand, silver price also remained lower at Rs 1,071.42 per 10 gram.

Pakistan gold prices downGold rates in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday in major bullion markets of the country despite nominal rise in international gold rates.

Gold prices in Karachi went down by Rs 600 per tola and recorded at Rs. 60,100 per tola (11.66 grams). The price of 10 grams gold was also declined by Rs 514 to Rs. 51,514.

On the other hand, silver price recorded at Rs. 1,114 per 10 gram.

The London gold-1500 recorded at $1799.

Pakistan gold prices ease furtherThe gold rates in Pakistan eased further on Thursday in major bullion market of the country.

Gold prices in Karachi dropped by Rs 200 per tola and recorded at Rs 60,600 per tola (11.66 grams). The price of 10 grams gold was declined by Rs 172 to Rs 51,942.

On the other hand, silver price was recorded at Rs 1,330 per tola.

In International market, Gold prices bounced back more than 1 percent on Thursday and recorded at $1,832 per ounce, boosted by bargain-hunters after the previous session’s fall of 3 percent, ahead of a speech by U.S President Barack Obama that could allay recession fears.

Pakistan gold prices hit high at Rs 57,800 per tolaPakistan gold prices touched new heights carrying forward prices to Rs 57,800 per tola; an increase of Rs 900 on Thursday driven by international gold prices which were recorded at $1,785 an ounce.

The prices of 10 grams gold climbed up to Rs 49,542 in all big cities of Pakistan on Thursday. On the other hand, silver price remained unmoved at Rs. 1,071.42 per 10 gram.

Gold prices are expected to continue upward trajectory on strong demand by India, China, and South Korea.

Gold hits new peak of Rs 57,000 per tolaGold hit a record high on Tuesday in local and international markets as investors were afraid about the threat to global economy from European and US debt crises.

Price of gold increased by Rs 2,150 per tola in a single day on Tuesday to reach at Rs 57,000 per tola, whereas its international price increased by $63 per ounce to reach $1778 per ounce mark, the metal experts said.

Investors have lost confidence in the bourses across the major stocks exchanges, besides the debt crisis reported to have engulfed eurozone’s third-and fourth-largest economies, Italy and Spain.

Pakistan gold prices steady KARACHI: After constantly rising in previous sessions, gold prices in major bullion market of the country remained unchanged.

Gold prices remained intact at Rs. 52,100 per tola in Karachi, reported by the Karachi Saraf Jewellers Association while price of 10 grams gold was also remain unchanged at Rs. 44,657.

On the other hand, silver price was recorded at Rs. 1,062.85 per 10 gram.

In the International market, Gold edged down on Friday and recorded at $1,613.46 an ounce as the dollar regained strength on Moody’s warning to downgrade Spain, while investors continued to watch U.S. debt ceiling talks after Republicans delayed a vote on a debt plan.

 Gold slips to Rs41,400KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs 42 to Rs 41,400 per 10 grams in local bullion market on Monday, as its international price also dipped to $ 1,492 an ounce, market sources said.

According to Karachi Saraf Association, tola (11.664 grams) price also soured by Rs 50 to Rs 48,300.

Silver closed lower at Rs 1,028.57 per 10 grams.
